The goal
To inspire the KL151 team with new futures for the airline. From imagining and designing integrated services, to concepting new products and commercial offers. Our goal was to unlock new futures for the world’s oldest airline.

For Virgin Media we conceived, designed and developed an engagement platform that would make their longest-serving customers feel proud to be with Virgin.

The approach
We spent 8 weeks (co)creating new value propositions and prototypes with the KL151 team. We applied our active innovation methodology and led a cross-disciplinary KLM team through an 8 week track of research, ideation, design and prototyping.
The results
A re-energised and inspired team, we are now on a path of socialising the work through the business units to help them imagine new possibilities in each of their domains.

Goal
Virgin Media had a problem - their oldest and most loyal customers were feeling neglected and churning out of their subscriptions as a result. We had to design an engagement platform that made them feel just how much Virgin cared.

A new breed of engagement platform.

For Virgin Media we conceived, designed and developed an engagement platform that would make their longest-serving customers feel proud to be with Virgin.

The approach
First we built a vision + strategy for the platform to get a large internal team aligned. With that in place we prototyped and designed an engagement platform that will ultimately replace three legacy touchpoints and Virgin Media’s loyalty program.

The results
We were able to re-focus a program that had been struggling to create traction, and to run through strategy, product proposition and experience design in a 10 week sprint.

Creating the future of ticketing for public transport

Simplifying travel for busy people.

Working within the Innovation Accelerator of the Netherland's largest bank to realise a completely new way of travelling on public transport.

Invisible Tickets uses the sensors on your phone to figure out what journeys you're taking and sorts out payments for you, without you lifting a finger

End-to-end system design for travellers and operators

For Virgin Media we conceived, designed and developed an engagement platform that would make their longest-serving customers feel proud to be with Virgin.

Approach
Working closely with ING and NS trains we rapidly developed a live pilot app through design sprints, prototyping and testing. Using a panel of over 100 people we were able to get deep insights about how the service could positively impact customer’s travel.

Results
The initial pilot seamlessly connected thousands of journeys across the Netherlands. The service is now expanding across Europe into new territories and forms of transport.

Nomad by Natwest is a concept for a new kind of international banking - transparent, easy and safe. The idea is to help people bank just how they would at home, wherever in the world they want to live and work.

Approach
We completed a cycle of research and insight generation, followed by concepting and proposition sketching. Through ongoing user testing we honed in on the strongest proposition, that we then designed and prototyped, and is now into build.
Results
The initial pilot seamlessly connected 1000s of journeys across the Netherlands. The service is now expanding across Europe into new territories and forms of transport.
